What has happened is the corruption of the balancing act between conservatives and progressives in America. We have lost our way and cannot find that place in the middle that used the best of both sides and kept the worst in check. We are self-destructing. There was never a time when we were in danger of becoming a communist regime but wealth inequality and the commiserate greed has now made fascism the greatest danger we have ever faced.
