We are losing. America is essentially ten people in a room and two of them are bullies forcing us to our knees with threats and intimidation. They will have our hands tied behind our backs very soon and we will be at the mercy of those who call empathy weakness. Expect no mercy. Our window of opportunity is closing fast.

In a dictatorship you will go to prison or worse for saying things the dictator decides is illegal. There is not much discourse possible with a white nationalist. Not much discourse with an anti-vaxxer. Not much discourse with a climate denier. Not much discourse with an election denier. Not much discourse with someone who supports forcing a ten-year-old to carry her rapist’s child. Not much discourse with a person who believes the poor should die of the flu in the gutter because they are useless eaters. Not much discourse with a person who insists a republic is not a democracy and America is not a democracy. There is no “discourse” that is going to fix that kind of stupid. The 85 percent of America that does not identify as MAGA, those 8.5 out of ten people, are waking up from their smart phone consumerism now because we are starting to realize we could lose everything we have. 15 percent of America is MAGA; 85 percent of America is NOT-MAGA. Even giving them 5 percent more to factor in those on the fence, that is 8 out of ten Americans are NOT-MAGA. In a room with ten people two are bullies telling everyone else to get down on their knees and be their slaves. Truth. The MAGA people are in for a big surprise when the rest of us decide to exclude them from power like they are trying to exclude us, and we create a functioning democracy. A New America with no billionaires because they did it. Billionaires did all of this.

The far right wants a civil war. This is in full view right now. Such a war will likely lead to genocide in America modeled on German fascism. The more we deny this the more likely death camps for “the enemy within.”

That almost all Americans do not comprehend this is very similar to German fascism and believe a holocaust cannot happen here is…terrifying. If we do not snap out of our zombie-state and end Trumpism extremely soon, it will be too late. I was at a holocaust memorial ceremony on an Army base in Arizona several years ago and a pair of German exchange officers took part. Seeing the looks on their faces affected me like few things in my life have. I have never seen such intense grief and guilt on peoples faces and there was no faking it. Americans had better wake up from their zombie state right now or they will be finally waking up as they are herded into the showers.

Tax the rich is what is missing from the supposedly leftist media. Those three words are the only weapon against the billionaires that ended America. They did it. Taxing and regulating out of existence these unbelievably wealthy entities is what must happen or we will end up exactly like Russia, Hungary and other autocracies…and like those countries at some point “protesting” will not be able to bring democracy back. Our children will live in squalor and misery for generations to come.

Hitlers brownshirts terrorized Germans into submission. Everyone knew if they were beat half to death for saying the wrong thing that their lives would only get worse after that. ICE is the Trumpist Gestapo; there is no mistaking it.

Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation. In other words, you do something that makes someone who is rich unhappy they sue you into poverty. Then nobody dares to do the same thing. Instead of going to court the media is paying off the bully and this has effectively wrecked the 1st Amendment. Another nail in the coffin.

Trumpism exposes the super-rich as the enemies of democracy. The 1 percent believe they should own everything and everyone. Simple. The only things that have ever kept us free from being the slaves of the rich are taxation and regulation….stopping the rich from owning everything and everyone. Only the government, a democratic government, can do that. See how that works? Nobody does see how that works because we lost.
