SSGND Space Solar Green New Deal

My big question for years seems to have nothing to do with politics; is large scale microwaving of electricity down from space environmentally sustainable? Space Solar Power as the solution to climate change is my architecture of effective resistance. Powering civilization from space is such an immense project that it turns everything upside down. Clarity on what this would mean is lacking. A space solar green new deal (SSGND).
