All the smart people are finally saying “yes, now it is fascism” when they kept trying not to say that for the last several years. Likely it is too late and most of us who have been commenting on social media for the last ten years will end up being herded into showers with all the non-whites and useless eaters.The problem with fixing America is that it is about taxing and regulating billionaires into oblivion and they are not going to let that happen. Nobody will talk about how the billionaires will go full not-see before they let us end their obscene hoarding of wealth.
That “happy people power” is going to turn into twenty or thirty million in the streets bringing the nation to a standstill. When the money stops flowing the guys with the guns start marching. The only question is whether they can get these soldiers, police, and paramilitaries to pull the trigger on their fellow citizens. That is what it will come down to. If they simply refuse to kill protesters then the regime will fall. Trump and his cronies will be removed from office and that is going to be mind-bogglingly ugly. It is coming and possibly this year and almost certainly next year.
